Be sure to look here to see all the doodles so far. And don’t forget to see the upcoming challenge with foxes and/or dreams!
love at first sight–
I caution the moth
closest to the flame
. . . . . . . . . . . . (thinking of you)
stirs my hair on my shoulders
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .(moths circle the lamp)
[note, the ellipses aren’t real, but inserted to make the line spacing work]
should be “the hair on my shoulders” on second thought.
I wish this allowed revision!
circling the light
the silence of the moon
hanging on a thread
the porch light–
sound of leaf flutter
the frenzied dance
of moths around the light
a crescent moon
to slow down

stillness these moths have never known
people at work
on the barges
low energy lights
on all night
to say hello from shore
over our heads
swings to Fate
might as well be the moon –
the flutter of moths.
crescent moon everything else looks like a rectangle
I take a break
to look at the moon
the dizzying dance
of moonlit dreams
Dancing in the light
The summer heat draws them near,
Too far is the moon
this moon or that moon the center of the universe
oops — change that second *the* to *my*
moon in the clouds—
the scent of snow
in your letter
