The Sketchbook Project

A few weeks back I received my sketchbook for the 2013 Sketchbook Project. Now that school is out, maybe I can actually start drawing in it! Sign ups are still available for anyone that’s interested. Good times are had by all (in my opinion)

Last week, I also heard back from the Art House Co-op that my sketchbook for the Limited Edition project, and has been archived in the Brooklyn Arts Library with all the other sketchbooks. Its call number is 178.6-3!

Here’s one page I did scan out of it:

  1. Congrats, Aubrie! And lovely doodle. I always love your drawings. 🙂 I think black/white images are your thing. 🙂 I’ve heard of The Sketchbook Project a few years ago, but never had the time to participate. I think I’m gonna do this in 2014 instead.

    1. Aww, thanks, Kathy! I have always had an affinity for black and white, though I do dabble in color from time to time (they just don’t scan well).

You should! Though I will say that you have quite some time to complete the sketchbook. For 2013, as said, I just got my sketchbook, and I don’t have to send it back until January!
