meditation
I slip past the center
into sleep
genie
getting ready to fade
spill your news
the year is young and
a carpet is what I need
genie
getting ready to fade
spill your news
the year is young and
a magic carpet is my need
meditation…
still diving in the realm
of white sharks
dreamland
motor in my heart
stills
he shares his dream
a doctor or else
a superhero
getting older
friends pass before me
a beaten path
appearing out of the woods
I can almost see to the end
in the dark
only the sound
of rain, and my heartbeat
resolutions…
letting go of what
no longer serves me
transcendental meditation relaxation
falling star –
he saves his wish
for his daddy
softly falling rain…
my anger dissolves
into sadness
savasana
I let go of all the things
I’ve taken back
counting rings
on the fallen oak–
how many heartbeats
have brought me
to me
winter rain
between each heartbeat
letting go
of the breath
we were holding in
great spirit moon —
I create
my own day
[…] the He Doodles, You ‘Ku, on Aubrie Cox’s Yay Words […]
lunch break floating on the wings of a butterfly
near death mist heartbeats
watching
my breath
the flame steadies
flattened by speech
I study
your heart-streaks
ICU
the sign means something
different now
heart murmur
calling his name
in her sleep
third eye–
giving shape
to my dreams
evening hush …
only the trembling
of my heart
