strawberry moon —
she brings me
saltwater taffy
rocky shores
we meet each wave
halfway
Nice one, Cara. I wish I had written this one!
Lake Erie shore
the damselfly’s wings
glittering
beacon light
he says he wants
to grow old with me
changing light
the gleam of
her lip ring
we rinse the steps
as we shout “Hi neighbor!”
salt streaks on their hull
[…] the I Doodle, You ‘Ku challenge, on Aubrie Cox’s Yay […]
last searchlight screaming above the waves
the way
light dances in his eyes …
spring moon
if ghosts
could cast
shadows…
electric candles
the map between ship
and shore

as you drift away
I cherish the sweeping light
of our memories . . .
the darkness of the night
brightens all the stars
Beautiful, Chrissi!
Thanks, Cara!
a star
in the ocean-
a lighthouse
her flashing eyes
the youthful gleam
still there
lighthouse –
a tortured boat goes
into the harbor
====
lighthouse-
without any signal
a boat goes
into the harbor
of my heart
the light circle
of a distant beacon…
midnight tide
your gaze
another wave reaches
the shore
wave and wave and wave and wave
of open horizon
& in the night: circular
light
(and then, turned into visual, this: http://virtual-notes.blogspot.de/2013/03/wave-and-wave.html )
Beyond and above all
He’s sending his signals

missed the warning light
two ships passing in the night
