dawn arrow-
a howl scratches
the silence
Aiming too high
in search of an apple
the arrow just
scratches the surface
falling stars –
perhaps i aim
too high
bored; he snaps the hull
of a sunflower seed
and it falls —
he knows not where
spring fever…
drawn off course
by a shaft of sunlight
how am i to know
the rules have changed
if no one tells me
the arrows of your words
cut deep into my flesh
[…] the I Doodle, You ‘Ku challenge, on Aubrie Cox’s Yay […]
pattern repeat
the arrow of meditation

arrowhead piercing the dawn a stag’s cry
I don’t want to
miss a single thing . . .
daffodils are blossoming
where I least expect it
as you wither away
intuition’s aim…
from the depth of my heart
to yours
launched arrow
whether bull’s eye or miss
your truth
aiming
for the stars-
an arrow
some stretch too far
some fall short –
between: the bulls-eye haiku
slightly off kilter the path to my heart
cupid’s song
from another time …
silent sky
Several arrows,
no bulls-eye,
yet.
the arrow Maid Marian strike his heart
Never mind the misses,
It is the process of taking aim,
Our involvement.
missing the mark…
today the freedom
to flower
somewhere,
anywhere
