New shoots,
Nature’s certificate,
Fertile mind.
bitter march wind –
everywhere
the green spikes of spring
first wild flowers
this carpet of deep spring
on my walk

waking up
stretching
spring sun
last snowflake –
all that unfurls
in my heart
Come rain, wind or snow
Wildflowers make their debut
And take center stage!
awake with the dawn
one by one
thoughts emerge
[…] the I Doodle, You ‘Ku challenge, on Aubrie Cox’s Yay […]
someone told him to wait
for germination —
each breath a seedling
each seedling a breath
sonogram the steady hum of the grow-light
or, maybe:
sonogram the steady hum of her grow-light
springtime cleaning –
my child’s fingerprints
on modeling clay
last year today
plum blossoms began
to scatter…
but this endless winter
his cancer is all that grows
new blossoms-
a bluebird flies into
my solitude
*white blossoms
first signs of spring…
the baby’s eyes turn
from blue to green
Love this one, Lauren.
Thank you again, Margaret!
one after one
seedlings greet the sun-
spring
last winter with you
I remind myself
of beginnings . . .
someday the sun
will shine on me
hummingbird …
the garden buzzes with
song
tiptoeing
through the nursery
morning breeze
