rising or setting

Yesterday the temperatures were above freezing, and I could easily walk from Judi’s Place (cod and red potatoes for lunch) to Piggly Wiggly. I bought flowers and vegetables. At home, I opened a window an inch for an hour.

to the changing seasons
we share
the silence
of our inner dawn
Catching up!!! Whew…
snow storm-
in the hung picture,
the sun
mirror sunset-
we are done with
wine-tasting
&
empty wine cups
what the evening
leaves us with
one more cup
before the sun rises . . .
maybe this time
I’d be the first one to
say goodbye
a slight revision:
one more cup
before the sun rises . . .
maybe this time
I’d be the first one
to say goodbye
