mindful / art: what / is man
clear skies…
my mind telescopes
into a tiny star
lost —
all the stars
in the sky
Reblogged this on A Walk In Haiku and commented:
twilight sky …
I catch a falling star
and hold on to it
writing every day to see more clearly
focusing on
the brightness
in the dark
Sky Palette
I watch. warmth. in detail. across a kinetic sky. color expands. too fast. too vast. for even my naked eye. pools gather. remix. shift. deepen. expand again. and swell. I abandon the telescope. and my pen. awed. transfixed. into the depth of this sky. slowly. becoming. radiant. night. I watch.

Hello!
the little things
that mattered to you . . .
if only I can keep them
in my pocket
to have you close
you always leave
a trail of stars
down my spine . . .
everything I need from you
when I am lost
dad’s telescope
pointing towards Saturn
eyes open to wonder
April 1st
making a wish
on Jupiter
