a million stars –
only an owl knows
what to say
nice!
Thanks so much, Cara 🙂
the pitch dark
of worrying – I book
another flight
star bright
the summer sky
full of wishes
[…] the He Doodles, You ‘Ku challenge, on Aubrie Cox’s Yay Words […]
moonlit sky-
I see stars
in his eyes
planet shadow
with the taste of midnight
tea
an old man holding the planet’s stare
wishing through the wrong end of a telescope
hehe
missing his dog
he hunts
for Canis Minor
as the Milky Way
pours into my heart…
a swarm of stars
melts the darkness
at my feet
keeping one eye closed starry night
ice crystals
on the telescope lens-
sound of stars
his eyes fixed
on the candy dish
sugar moon
a dimpled smile
behind the *burdah …
starry night
*burdah means “cloak” or “mantle” in Arabic
searching
for the asteroid-
the prince
eye spy
scope long
brought near
our chance meeting the moon and Jupiter in conjunction
my son
ashamed of acne scars
i tell him of all
the love song’s written
about the full moon’s face
lots of good ones here!
Jupiter viewing
from among the maple leaves
a spider in orbit
