Built the earth today.
The scent of Elmer’s lingers
In flower hinges.
Creating our world,
One art project at a time,
Glue on my fingers
looking at
the map –
not finding
his
state
unfinished lines
the wait begins
for your return
setting the world straight; what a kill joy
Afternoons’ paint job all round up, hiding the paperwork stack
a ball of thoughts
with navy blue on the side
whales’ farewell song
Oh, I *like* that first line. That’s beautiful.
thank you Katie! 🙂
continents
all have new names
in biro
oceans apart
we stay glued
to the webcam
new globe–
my daughter asks
where are the bathrooms?
celestial sphere –
even the globe has
a double
old globe–
the blue of the oceans
fading
Facebook friends
the world much smaller
than it used to be
papier-mâché world
holding it together
with a lot of glue
Time travel:
the smells of glue & polish
have me back in school
learning a new map
one day at a time
middle-age
I love this one, Ellen!
Hi Cara, Thank you!
