garden tools
my collection starts early
this year
I, shipwright.
My vessels
carry me.
the pencil holder…
all the colours
of my rainbow
a pitcher of color is overflowing with ideas.

no fresh flowers
to fill his absence. . .
this bitter winter
I folded paper roses
on the stems of pencils
two pencils
red and blue
waiting to become
purple
pencils
ready to draw…
the rainbow
Years ago my mother bought a coffee mug with my name. It now holds markers: orange, red, yellow, pink, green, purple, blue, grey, brown, and black.
spring soon snowdrops will be first to bloom
Reblogged this on A Walk In Haiku and commented:
scent of lavender
from a butterfly’s flutter …
tranquility
Colored pencils wait
to blossom
onto the page
I’ve discovered that things disintegrate
watch the light change color
the beginning
leaves us behind the beginning ends
I can’t remember who we used to be
right or wrong
the choice I simply
must make
Lovely! i like this take, sanjuktaa ^_^
Thank you, Kala 🙂
he colors
my world with words
and melody . . .
my heart overflows
with a song
revision:
my world
colored with his words
and melody . . .
how my heart overflows
with a song
a butterfly
with one wing…
parting
yet more snow on the way
I’d draw
another day
freshly sharpened the corners of my mind
his last words:
“pencil me in”
